Courses | What We Offer

Our program is available to individuals of all ages, from children to old people, without any distinction. Our courses usually take 3 to 6 months to enable a student to read Qur'an accurately. But it mostly depends on the student's interest and capability.

Our One to One classes enable the tutors and students on where to start from. Tutors usually assess the current level of the student and recommend on where to start from, either from the very first level (beginners) or any other level (secondary or advance).

Nurani Qaida

The basis of every language is its alphabets which makes it easier to learn the language. There are rules for the Holy Quran through which the letters of the Holy Quran are pronounced and recognized. This makes it easier to read the Holy Quran. We have expert teachers who focus on the understanding of the arabic language foundation so that your children will be taught the word of Allah in the correct manner. Since we are non-arabic speakers, there is room for error in our arabic pronounciation. We try hard to teach our students the correct way of reading the Holy Quran by focusing on the correct pronounciation and the rules of the arabic language.

Tajweed

Tajweed literally means beauty. In the context of Quran recitation this term means to read the characters following the rules of the language and with the correct 'Makharij', which is the correct place of articulation that distinguishes a certain letter from another. To read the Quran with Tajweed, it is necessary to read all its rules. For example لحن، نمنہ، مد، اظہار، اقلاب، اخفا، ادغام etc. لحن means error. The possibility of error increases if the words of the Holy Quran are not recited properly. There are several words in arabic which sound very similar but with very different meaning. For example, ق and ك and two different letters in arabic langauge. The words قلب and كلب are very similar in pronounciation but قلب means heart while كلب means a dog. During our course, all rules of tajweed are taught and students memorize them by heart. Some examples of tajweed rules include مد, شد, ن ساكن, ن تنوين etc.

Quran Hifz

After Nazra our next step is to go for Hifz which is to memorize the Quran whether it be a few Surahs (Quran chapters) or the whole of Quran if Allah wills it. It is important for Muslims to remember some part of the Holy Quran. Ibn Abbas reported that The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, one who does not hold anything from the Quran in his heart is like a ruined house.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2913).

  • Benefits of Hifz
  • 1.The prophet P.B.U.H is reported to have said: ” A person who recites the Quran and has memorised it, will be with noble scribes (Angels/Prophets, in Jannah)” (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 4937)
  • 2.The prophet P.B.U.H is reported to have said: “It will be said to the one who memorised the Quran/held fast on the Quran [together with practicing upon it], ‘Recite and ascend and recite just as you would recite in the world, for your abode (in Jannah) will be the last verse you recite” (Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2914, Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 1459, Declared authentic –hasanun sahih– by Imam Tirmidhi)
  • 3.The prophet P.B.U.H is reported to have said: “The one who recites the Quran and acts upon it, on the Day of Qiyamah his parents will be made to wear a crown whose light is better than the light of the sun had it been in the dwellings of the world, so what do you think (of the reward) of the person himself” (Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 1453 and Mustadrak Hakim, vol. 1 pg. 567)
